Lately, it has been in the news that after delivering “New York” on the silver screen, Katrina’s boyfriend macho Salman Khan showed regrets for the bold scenes and he has some grudges with John Abraham.

In the coming flick of maverick director Anurag Kashyap who is planning to make a movie about the life in Mumbai and John Abraham is most suitable cast done by the director officially. Director offered the script of the movie to the glam girl Katrina Kaif seem that she would like it, but she denied working with John Abraham.

Sources close to Katrina Kaif revealed that the script is a kind of stuff that Katrina would love to do with but at this stage she is trying to concentrate on her career to make herself on the marks as an actress. She is still in two minds about signing up for the movie. Firstly, she is not sure if she wants to be paired opposite John again because she knows that the rumours will rise again.

The air between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan seems to be getting cooler. Last week Shahrukh had referred to Salman as his friend while hosting the IIPM Quiz. Now there are signs if their rekindling friendship with Salman’s lady love Katrina Kaif starring opposite Shahrukh under the Yash Raj Films banner. The movie will be directed by Aditya Chopra or New York director Kabir Khan.Buzz up!
The film is expected to go on the floors by early next year. This will be the Shahrukh’s first movie with the sizzling Katrina Kaif. She remains the only big contemporary name Shahrukh hasn’t worked with. YRF had plans to cast Shahrukh and Katrina in a movie for quite some time but the spat between Shahrukh and Salman during Katrina’s birthday bash last year had put the project on hold.

We’ve all heard of ‘three men and a little lady’ but now get ready for ‘four men and a stunning heroine’ as Katrina Kaif has been signed as the star of the sequel to Dostana

Not only will John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan romance Kat but will now have Arjun Rampal and Ritesh Deshmukh after her too!

Dostana 2 brings together the dream team of the original film in director, Tarun Mansukhani and producer Karan Johar. They have the perfect script and now the perfect girl to match the role.

Katrina has been traveling the globe recently, after spending her birthday in London; she then headed to Spain for a holiday. The actress is now in New York before she jets to Chicago to help celebrate Independence Day.

A source said, “Katrina was chosen to play the female lead after much deliberation.”

So what actually clinched it for Kat? Actually, it was YOU! Yes, that’s right, give yourselves some credit as the source went on to say: “they felt that Katrina’s ‘most hit’ status on the Internet makes it apt for her to play the role of the ‘most hit’ girl by the boys in Dostana 2.”

Her much debated pairing with John Abraham in NEW YORK and alleged eventual annoyance of Salman Khan has kept the rumour mills abuzz. Katrina clears the air in a tete-a-tete with our correspondent on the eve of NEW YORK’s release

NEW YORK is a big film and you must be excited.

Oh! (Laughs) certainly I am. It’s a big… big … film and I am really excited. I am keeping my fingers crossed. It’s a lovely film…a story that will touch everyone’s heart and most importantly it is a Yash Raj film. I had always wanted to work with Yash Raj Films like every other actor.However, in doing so controversy has once again erupted. Apparently,Salman Khan did not like your pairing with John Abraham and your closeness to him?
I don’t know how such stories come up!!! (Surprised) Moreover, these are personal things and we all are professional actors. When we are acting we don’t allow such things to influence our work. In fact it was a great experience working with the entire crew.

It’s being said that Salman Khan wasn’t happy with your intimacy with John, as they are not the best of buddies in the industry.
In fact that is again a completely personal thing. People can have issues and they are the best to handle it and solve it. That doesn’t come in between the work. I have always maintained that. I will never do something on screen, which I think I am not comfortable with and this time too there wasn’t any exception.
